Kilde elevates the investor experience with automated money movement and real-time reconciliation

Kilde connects family offices, funds, and accredited investors to investment-ready private credit deals in developed and emerging markets. The partnership with Acme has enabled them to bring a best-in-class investor experience, with real-time and automated money movement.
"Automation and technology is in the DNA of what Kilde does. We know that investing in automation early on for payments is key to driving speed, reliability, and if done well, security."

- Radek Jezbera, CEO and Co-Founder

Impact

Real-time recognition of funds
Kilde was able to receive and identify funds in real-time, bringing a deeper level of assurance and comfort to investors.
Automated payouts
With fund disbursements and payouts happening on a regular basis, Kilde's partnership with Acme allows it to automate an otherwise highly manual process.
Alleviating resource constraints
Kilde was able to get started on bank integrations with minimal effort via Acme, compared to building on their own.

Challenge

As a brokerage and investment business, payments is extremely important to Kilde to get right. With high volumes of transactions coming in and out from both institutions and accredited investors, Kilde knew that reliability and accuracy of money movement was critical and required an automated solution.

With this understanding, Kilde was seeking a solution for the following:
(a) An ability to accurately recognize and reconcile incoming funds on a real-time basis, thus giving investors the comfort in knowing that funds have been received by Kilde.

(b) Automated fund disbursements to investors and companies, given the large volumes and variety of payouts Kilde is required to make on a regular basis.

In doing so, Kilde hopes to give investors a best-in-class experience with a high degree of speed, reliability, and security.

Solution

What's next
for Kilde

Acme's set of integrated APIs for reconciliation and payouts came at the right time for Kilde. Instead of having to wait for their team to build this on their own, which required significant engineering and product management resources, Kilde was able to confidently outsource the integration to Acme and go-live at a much shorter timeframe.

"With Acme coming into the picture, we realized we can outsource and get started on bank integrations right away, instead of putting this on the later part of our product roadmap. We would not have gotten started so quickly if we had not met Acme."
- Radek Jezbera, CEO & Co-Founder, Kilde

Since working with Acme, Kilde has introduced real-time recognition of funds. Investors can immediately view deposits on their dashboard, similar to what they may experience with other fintechs such as Revolut or Wise. Kilde is beginning to roll out automated fund disbursements, which provides a significant workaround to otherwise highly manual and time-consuming payment workflows.

Beyond the existing integrations, Kilde has ambitious growth plans. As a business with close to $100M AUM by the end of 2024, Kilde expects to double the size of its AUM by the end of 2025. On the back of this growth comes a number of exicting product updates, including multi-currency opportunities with better exchange rates for investors, increasing diversity of investment opportunities, and investing into more liquidity options such as monthly redemption options.

Acme is excited to continue partnering with Kilde as it grows and further expands its use cases for bank integrations.
"One big pro of our model is that institutions and individuals are investing in the same product. Everything is the same, and individuals have the same opportunities as institutions."

- Radek Jazebra, CEO & Co-Founder, Kilde
