Instant account funding, straight from your users' banks.
Let customers fund and top up with eGIRO — link a bank in under 2 minutes, move money instantly, no card, no chargebacks. We build and run it.
The first deposit is where users drop off
Card top-ups decline, and manual transfers send users out of your app and leave you matching deposits. eGIRO links the bank once — after that, every top-up happens in-app.
Instant top-ups
On-demand collections run over FAST, so the money arrives while the user is still in your app.
Onboarding in under 2 minutes
Users approve once at their own bank, with its own login and 2FA.
You keep custody
Funds move from the user's bank straight to yours. ISO 27001.
Done for you, live in 4–6 weeks
We handle ABS onboarding, keys, certificates and testing with each bank.
Built for funding flows
Account funding at onboarding, instant top-ups, recurring deposits and wallet reloads — all on one mandate the user approves once. Money moves from their bank to your account; Acme carries the instructions and the status, never the funds.

FAQ
What does eGIRO add to our account-funding flow?
It lets users fund their account from the bank they already use, without a card or a manual transfer. They link their bank once, and every later top-up happens inside your app. On-demand collections run over FAST and settle within seconds, so the money arrives while the user is still in your app, and you get the result by webhook instead of matching incoming transfers by hand.
Do our users' funds pass through Acme?
No. Funds move from the user's bank straight to your account. Acme sends the debit instructions and returns the status, but never holds the money, and users approve the mandate to your organisation, not to Acme. Acme is a non-regulated technology layer, not a bank, so where your users' money sits is unchanged.
How long does it take a user to link their bank?
Usually under 2 minutes. The user picks their bank in your app, logs in with that bank's own login and 2FA, sets a limit and approves once; the mandate is then active and you're notified by webhook. If the user doesn't finish the bank step within 20 minutes, the request expires and they can start again. Joint accounts can't be linked online.
Who already uses Acme for eGIRO funding?
StashAway, a Singapore-based robo-advisor, funds investment accounts with eGIRO through Acme. After the switch, the time for deposits to be processed and recognised fell from 2–4 business days to under 2 minutes, and 50% of new eGIRO adopters had never used eGIRO before. StashAway went live in under 12 weeks end to end, including integrating with a new bank and automating deposit reconciliation.
Which banks can our users link?
Users can link accounts at 11 payer banks: Bank of China, CIMB, Citibank, DBS, HSBC, ICBC, MariBank, Maybank, OCBC, Standard Chartered and UOB. Citibank, HSBC and Standard Chartered support retail accounts only, which covers individual users. Banks join the scheme over time; our API lists the banks currently available to your organisation and whether each is online.
How long until we can launch eGIRO funding?
Typically 4–6 weeks. We handle the ABS onboarding, keys, certificates and testing with each payer bank, and guide you through registering as a billing organisation with your bank. Your engineers integrate one API: create the mandate, send the user to their bank to approve, then collect on demand. You can build and test in test mode first, without touching live data or any bank.
